Telegram notifications update: a courier menu to take delivery orders and mark them delivered
This Telegram notifications update gives your couriers their own menu in the bot. A courier sees which delivery orders are ready, takes one with a tap, and marks it delivered at the guest's door, while the venue knows who has which order.
Delivery orders in the courier's Telegram notifications
Staff with the courier role get a message when a delivery order is ready. Orders to deliver lists the ready orders with the venue, order number, amount and the start of the address. The courier opens one and taps Take for delivery, and the order is assigned to them.
Active deliveries
Active deliveries keeps the orders a courier is carrying, with the address and the amount to collect. At the door the courier taps Mark as "Delivered", and the order is closed as delivered for the venue and the guest.
Smaller improvements in this Telegram notifications update
Also in this update:
- Staff on and off per venue. A staff member switched off in one venue stops getting its notifications and keeps the others.
- Command menu in the bot. A menu button next to the message field lists the bot commands in the language of the person using it.
How to get it
The courier menu reaches the bot with the next release. Add couriers with the courier role in the merchant dashboard, then ask them to start the bot.
